Description

Arcata Associates Inc. plans to issue a Sole Source Request for Quote (RFQ) for Open Source Software to be used at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) and are located in the attached WORD 2000. 9.0 files, which includes representations and certifications and Arcata Associates Inc. terms and conditions. Interested vendors have seven(7) days from this publication date of this Synopsis/RFQ to submit their proposal to the undersigned at the Internet Address or fax number listed below. All attached paper work must be completed and is considered a part of the RFQ. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of solicitation amendments (if any). Responses received without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the Synopsis/RFQ. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this Synopsis/RFQ.

This requirement is for Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) which must meet the accessibility standards established by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 7941). The specific Technical Standards that apply will be identified in the solicitation. In responding to any solicitation subsequent to this synopsis, you must state if the products offered meet the identified Technical Standards. Additional information regarding Section 508 can be obtained from the General Services Administration at http://www.section508.gov/ or from the Arcata point of contact identified in this announcement.
