Description

This synopsis is notification of the NASA Shared Services Center's intent to extend each existing delivery order under the Outsourcing Desktop Initiative for NASA (ODIN) master contracts NAS5-98144 (Lockheed Martin Government Services) and NAS5-98145 (OAO Corporation) to coincide with the current transition schedules of NASA's I3P program. The maximum extension to any delivery order under this activity will be through October 31, 2011. These delivery order extensions are necessary to provide continuity of services between the ODIN program and the contracts to be awarded under the I3P program. The Government intends to award these extensions under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy requirement. The Government has supported the proposed actions by written justification and appropriate approval prior to proceeding. Therefore, it is the Government's intent to modify the existing delivery orders by extending the period of performance. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers.
